Up Went Nelson T-Shirt (Preorder)

You asked, and we listened. Due to popular demand, the Up Went Nelson t-shirt is available again for preorder.

In 1966 the Nelson Pillar, which stood on Dublin's O'Connell Street since 1809 was blown-up. As the news spread across Ireland, The Irish Press hurriedly printed the headline on posters in mismatched and slightly wonky type. This design takes inspiration from the posters seen in photos from that historic day.

Pre-orders will open 10am on Friday 1st October, and close 10am Friday 8th October. T-Shirts will then be sent to print and posted out late October/ early November. Production is of course a little slower at the moment, so your patience is appreciated.

Designed by Paul Guinan, using lettering created by Signal Type Foundry. All t-shirts are black with white print on Gildan Heavy Cotton. Nelson's head on the front, text on the back.
